A Tip of the Hat

I feel like a proud pappa. Today the recently launched Notre Dame College of Arts and Letters website was featured as Macromedia’s showcased ‘Site of the Day.’.

Notre Dame has had a long-standing relationship with the software company, and a majority of its products were used to create the site. It’s an honor for our team to be recognized as innovators with their tools, and to be chosen from not only a section of peer University sites, but submissions from any and all industries. It seems like we’ve set a high bar for ourselves in the Web Group, but I’ve always liked working under pressure.

If you haven’t already, check out the Notre Dame College of Arts and Letters website and let us know what you think. We always enjoy feedback. Really.

I’ll tell you what, that’s one of the better looking college websites I’ve seen on the web.

    Awesome job.

    Phew! That’s good. Congrats Steve.

Cool. I didn’t know Macromedia rewarded non-flash sites. For a while in early 2000 all I ever saw was flash-flash-flash-flash. Granted they all looked beautiful, it’s a breath of fresh air to see something so clean and simple get posted up there.

Nowadays we have so many CSS galleries with pretty much anyone being able to use standards will get listed, it’s pretty sweet the Notre Dame site was listed on one of the originals. Again, great job. :)

Congratulations. That is a fantastic looking website. I must say it is very encouraging and is definitely inspiring especially since I work in the web dev department at my University.

    Keep up the wonderful work.

Excellent design. Definitely one of the best University sites out there. I am a huge fan of all things ND and it is nice to see that they are making the effort to hire the right people to establish there presence on the web.
