In the beginning, we were outspoken about why we were building Harmony. I feel like our opinions driving Harmony design decisions are getting stronger, but we are sharing less. This stops now.
There have been several posts concerning Harmony on this here weblog, but none of them are as important as this one.
Over the course of the past year and a half, we have learned a lot through building and releasing Harmony. I thought it might be helpful to reflect on what we have learned thus far and share those lessons with you.
We’re finally revealing the tip of the Harmony iceberg in the form of a nearly-complete documentation site that will fuel our beta testers, and help future customers hit the ground running once the CMS is released.
Things have been silent on this here blog because Steve and I have been making ridiculously awesome progress on Harmony. We are actually less than a week away from our first deploy and only a few weeks away from running OrderedList.com in Harmony.
Hard to believe it has been three months since we last talked about Harmony. Heck, it is hard to believe it has been three months period. The last three months have flown by for us, but we thought we would start the new year off on the right foot.
When we set out to make Harmony, our upcoming website management system, we wanted to solve some of the more annoying issues that we had run into with managing content on the web. User management is one such issue.
I don’t know about you but I like to try before I buy. That is why signing up for Harmony will require no payment details. Provide us with a bit of information and you’ll be on your way to the administration area where you can take our baby for a spin.
On my second day working with Steve at Ordered List, we began our first application. I started programming and Steve started designing and a few days later we had a great start.
