SXSWi 2006
Just a quick note to let people know that I’m confirmed for SXSWi this March. I’m very excited to meet so many people I’ve been wanting to talk to in person for so long. If you’re interested in a chat or a drink, drop me a line. It should be fun to discuss so many topics with so many educated perspectives. I’ll see you folks there!

I’m also registered and planning to go, but the fact that I just took a new job could throw a slight monkey wrench into those plans. I’m pretty sure I’ll be there, though (I’ve already paid!), so I hope to meet you!

I must be one of those people that you want to meet, eh? :) With so many people to meet, how are we ever going to find time for the presentations?
I’d be interested in meeting you and the rest of these commenters. I’m curious if I look anything like Steve, since we’re both “Smith.” I also want to see if Dustin really looks like Zeldman in person.

I tried to make things like this down here, at Argentina and one time I got 11 people to show up! that’s 11 people! a guy made a mistake so it was 10 actually ;-(

it was colly that appears to be my twin. The Zeldman/Father dealio was just a facáde.
Ever since watching this years episode of Real Word Austin, where the gang has to develop a video based on the SXSW festival, my interest for the event has certainly grown.
Austin is about 2 hours from me. I sure am going to try to make it to SXSWi this time around. If I do I will buy your first round that is if we end up in the same bar.
Hey Steve! I LOVE SXSWi and I can’t wait to get back there. I spent most of last year’s conference either drunk or hiding away with my ex, so I’m determined to come away from this conference with more business cards and email addresses. I’m sure we’ll meet somewhere! Take care until then!
Good to hear Steve. Likewise, if all goes as planned, I will also be attending. Not as speaker, but just your “off-the-wall” attendee, hopefully pimping a new laptop by then. You know, you can’t attend SXSW without a portable geek machine, or so I hear.
