I am pleased to announce that I have accepted an offer from the University of Notre Dame to be the primary Web Developer for the Notre Dame Web Group. It’s exciting to be a member of a team so devoted to web standards and quality of content, and I look forward to being a part of such an excellent institution.
I’m in the process of writing a few new articles for this site, and I thought I’d let you in on one and get some of your help. The article I’m speaking of is called ‘Writing Lean CSS.’ I have several tips of my own currently, but I don’t consider myself to be the ultimate authority on CSS. I’d like to hear from you any tips that you have seen or have used to trim down a CSS file. And just to give some people motivation, I have Gmail invites for the two best tips.
So a new design already. While I was testing this new design (not so much a new design as a rearrangement) I was asked “Why are you redesigning already?” Well, the answer is multipart, which I will explain, but if you liked or preferred Version 2.0, it is still available via the Style Switcher on the Home page.
