Working for the Irish

I am pleased to announce that I have accepted an offer from the University of Notre Dame to be the primary Web Developer for the Notre Dame Web Group. It’s exciting to be a member of a team so devoted to web standards and quality of content, and I look forward to being a part of such an excellent institution.

That being said, a hole is left for my current employer. If you are an accomplished web developer with computer administration experience living in the northern Indiana area, contact me for more details.

  1. congrats! sounds like it should be a great job. i’m currently working for a university with a group that embraces web standards etc etc – it’s a great environment to work in because money is usually less of an issue. i hope you like your new job as much as i like mine! :)

  2. Definately congratulations.

I’ve not long started a new job as well, working for a resort company here in Australia. With my added weight, we’re hoping to push some standards based design where we can. On a positive note, it has already begun with the dropping of a pure JavaScript flyout menus and replacement with SuckerFish style ones, most excellent.

Now to just find a stick big enough to beat down on all those old remaining crufty tables

  3. Thanks for the encouragment guys. Geeky – I’m hoping my new position will be as enjoyable as yours. And Alistair – congrats on your Standards progress. Keep up the good work.
